Tap manufacturers since 1890
We began with premises in Barcelona in an industrial warehouse of more than 16,000 m2.
In our ongoing history, we have filed 115 patents, utility models and design registrations. As a result of our enthusiasm and perseverance over the years, we have become a leading international reference, we have certified our products according to the strictest standards and our sales networks cover more than 40 countries.
Manufacturing taps: our vocation
Our mission is to create products that generate sensory experiences for our users around the world, we integrate high-tech taps with comfort, innovation and eco-efficiency features.
We work to offer a quality service to our clients, suppliers, employees and end users, with the development and implementation of an after-sales service and a spare parts guarantee for more than 10 years.
The importance of a sustainable industry
We develop environmentally friendly practices and are firmly committed to saving water and energy, without this causing a loss of comfort for the user.
Most of our taps feature systems that allow water savings of 50%. We also have energy saving systems, such as cold opening on single-handle taps and maximum temperature limiters on thermostatic and electronic taps. Both electronic and timed taps achieve water savings of up to 70%.
We are committed to sustainable practices and processes, such as the use of quality raw materials, recycling of packaging, etc. We continually invest in preventive quality, improving the durability of materials and mechanisms; and therefore extending the useful life of our products.

We manufacture sustainable solutions and innovations that improve people’s quality of life. From receiving the Gold medal at the Barcelona Universal Exhibition in 1929, to the iF Design awards in 2021, we have made our commitment and decision to contribute to society very clear through products that resolve real problems. With innovation and process engineering, we create extremely honest products in terms of their design-quality-comfort-price ratio, certified according to the strictest national and international standards.

Our history
Learn about the history of a century-old company
1890
INDUSTRIAS RAMONSOLER IS FOUNDED
In 1890, Miguel Soler manufactured taps for wine barrels in a small metal workshop close to Barcelona, in the town of Manresa.
As time went on, due to the commitment and perseverance he shared with his partner Castellà, they began to expand production to sanitary taps and industrial valves, until complete lines of taps for bathrooms, kitchens, large showers and hydrotherapy were included.
1929
GOLD MEDAL FOR INDUSTRIAL MERIT
In 1929, the company participates in the Barcelona Universal Exhibition, receiving the Gold Medal for Industrial Merit. This gave the company a great boost, the prelude to what was to come in the coming decades.
1968
LAUNCH OF “JOYA”
The 60s, a golden decade in which the brand reached its peak with the launch of “Joya”, a revolutionary tap due to its design developed from jewellery techniques that achieved unprecedented success, making it a classic and marking the beginning of a new era for the brand.
1986
EXPORT TO FRANCE AND BELGIUM
The year in which Spain joined the European Economic Community (EEC) marked a transcendental moment for ramonsoler, as the firm started exporting with great success in France and Belgium. This milestone symbolised a significant step towards international expansion.
1987
SOLEMIX AND THE EUROFAMA 2000 AWARD
At the end of the 80s, ramonsoler launches its first single-handle tap, Solemix. In the same year, 1987, the company receives the EUROFAMA 2000 award, which selected the most outstanding company within each sector each year, based on technical studies regarding prestige, service, image and the quality of the products.
1992
CLASSICS THAT LAST. AQUASOL-LUX, RASGO AND SUPER MIX
ramonsoler launches its Aquasol-Lux, Rasgo and Super Mix collections, a series of single-handle taps made entirely of metal, with characteristic designs that marked a trend at the time and that still work perfectly in the bathrooms of some homes. Creation of the new plant in Sant Joan Despí with a production area of 9,000 m2, reaching a total of 16,000 m2 of the entire industrial complex of Barcelona.
1994
LAUNCH OF TERMOSOL
The company launches the first thermostatic tap and called it Termosol. The first of many thermostatic tap models that already had mechanisms for the user to control the temperature in a comfortable and safe way.
1999
THE FIRM WAS ONE OF THE FIRST TO ENTER INTO PARTNERSHIP WITH THE HOTEL INDUSTRY
Collections were created specifically tailored for the contract sector. Joint research projects were set up between Johnson Wax and ramonsoler to ensure durable chrome plating.
2005
COLLABORATION WITH PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL FIRMS TO CREATE NEW FAUCET COLLECTIONS
ramonsoler collaborates with Swarovski incorporating crystal elements in the faucet handles, a tandem in perfect combination between ramonsoler's design and high technology with the added value of this well-known jewellery firm. On the other hand, it also collaborates with La Cartuja de Sevilla for the ceramic elements of the Gaudí taps.
2007
MITHOS COLLECTION: PATHWAY TO SUSTAINABILITY
The firm is ahead of the eco-sustainable trends with the Mithos series, a collection which incorporates wood in its design, with three tones: Beech, Cherry and Wenge. By masterfully incorporating wood into the design, it manages to set a precedent in the sector, not only adding an aesthetic touch to the taps, but also reflecting the brand's commitment to sustainability.
2008
CHROMOTHERAPY ARRIVES WITH THE HIDROCROM SPRAYER
Introduction of chromotherapy in bathrooms with the launch of Hidrocrom, the first sprayer that fully imitated nature, creating 3 effects in the water: oxygenation, negative ions and chromotherapy from essential colors.
2009
AROLA SERIES BY ANTONI AROLA
Launch of the Arola series, designed by the prestigious designer Antoni Arola, which incorporates highly advanced technology with its progressive cartridge that ensures cold opening to save water and energy. With this collection, the designer leaves his distinctive mark with the minimalist and timeless elegance that characterises him so much.
2012
INCORPORATION OF S2/C2 AND S3/C3 SYSTEMS
The S2/C2 and S3/C3 systems are now available with water and energy savings incorporated in all our 40 and 35 mm taps. This ensures savings of millions of litres of water per day while maintaining full user comfort.
2016
THE EVOLUTION OF YPSILON PLUS AND TITANIUM
Ypsilon Plus is launched on the market, a collection that transmits touch with a lot of sense, and Titanium, a collection with an industrial aesthetic and efficient functionality.
2018
NAN HYDROTHERAPY AWARD
In 2018, ramonsoler® won the XI Nan Award for Architecture and Construction in the Sanitary, Kitchen, Taps and Accessories category. An award given for the Ultra Slim hydrotherapy sprinklers, with a thickness of just 2 mm.
2020
THE NATURE AND URBAN SPIRIT OF THE URBAN CHIC COLLECTION
Urban Chic, a new collection with a cascading water output, using the Tourbillon system patented by ramonsoler® and a modern aesthetic, merges our most human desires to enjoy nature in our urban habitat. It was well received and won the international iF DESIGN AWARD 2020.
2021
MAGNET AND NEW FLY KITCHENS
ramonsoler continues to innovate and in 2021, launched its Magnet Kitchen collection of kitchen taps, again receiving the international iF Design Award 2021 in the product category. Magnet Kitchen stands out as it features an innovative system of neodymium magnets, which allows the spout to return to its initial position easily when it is no longer being used.
The New Fly collection also hits the market, a series of taps with an avant-garde aesthetic and a design that facilitates the natural position of the hand on its control.
2022
GERMAN DESIGN AWARD URBAN CHIC
Urban Chic champions design and innovation. The collection that merges human beings’ desire for nature with their urban spirit received the iF Design Award in 2020, and was recognised again with the German Design Awards 2022, a premium award from the German Design Council, which pays tribute to the conception and implementation of coherent design. Urban Chic receives the special mention for excellence in PRODUCT DESIGN in the BATHROOM & WELLNESS category for its models with high-quality and resistant matt black, brushed gold and brushed nickel finishes.
2023
2023 iF DESING AWARD, GERMAN DESING AWARD AND GOOD DESIGN: ADAGIO
Adagio, one of our most awarded faucets, wins three awards: iF Design Award, German Design Award and Good Design in 2023. We launch the elegant Odisea and Odisea Joya series and introduce bathroom accessories. In addition, the prestigious French body "Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment" (CSTB) appoints ramonsoler as a full member of the NF077 Committee, together with other leading European companies. We also received the Ecovadis silver medal, recognition of our support for sustainability.
2024
2024 GERMAN DESING AWARD POUR "THE ART OF FLOW"
Our project "The Art of Flow" receives the prestigious German Design Award 2024. The strategic re-branding of ramonsoler®️ stands out for its global approach, where every element, from the visual design to the brand narrative, has been meticulously crafted to convey our passion for innovation and sustainable solutions. This cultural transformation is reflected in multiple aspects such as logo, claim, packaging, sustainable merchandising, etc.

The latest trends seek the beauty of nature and to transport us to the greenest and most sustainable landscapes. In the Ramon Soler Flagship Store Mexico the elegant black colour predominates and details of diverse vegetation are incorporated into the interior design. It is a project that takes the visitor on an experiential journey in which design and water are the protagonists.
