Ramon Soler® presents a redesign of its timed taps with novel features that achieve maximum ease of use and maintenance, as well as the safety, hygiene and environmental responsibility needed to adapt our way of life and our habits to a world full of constant change, in which looking after ourselves and our planet is paramount.
Timed taps are also a definitive solution to concerns about the safety and maintenance of taps in installations in public places. With its robustness, the Solestop range by Ramon Soler® withstands the damage caused by the wear of continued use and by vandalism in this type of installation. That robustness, however, does not limit the ergonomics of the push button, since its mechanism allows a soft, pleasant and efficient press for all types of users.
Its adjustable automatic shut-off allows both the installer and the end customer to set it to their expectations and needs, avoiding excess consumption by default in ordinary day-to-day use, but also in the event that we might forget and leave the tap open. The Solestop timed tap delivers a stable, continuous flow for a previously set period of time, after which the water flow is interrupted automatically. A simple, minimalist, practical and easy-to-install tap concept that makes more sustainable taps possible and puts them within everyone's reach.
Ramon Soler® surprises us with an improvement to the operation of these timed taps by incorporating the Quick Set-Up system. A mechanism that lets us reduce the shut-off time, and therefore the water supply, making responsible use of the planet's natural resources.
Without dismantling the tap, from the top and with nothing more than a simple screwdriver, we can adjust the position of the hydraulic needle, which lets us set the timing independently of the supply conditions. We only need to remove the handle of the control and turn the timer with a screwdriver clockwise to increase the time and anticlockwise to reduce it, with a choice of 2 to 20 seconds.
As if this advantage were not enough, we also have a solution for generating different flow rates. Through the position of the capsule we can adjust the flow in four positions: 100% flow, 60%, 30% or 15%, generating higher levels of water saving. In addition to these different adjustment positions, the brand offers flow limiters, which make it possible to set a maximum number of litres of water per minute, reducing water consumption while maintaining comfort of use.
Quick Set-up is incorporated into three different models. Two deck-mounted taps, with a straight and an angled design, and a wall-mounted tap. This lets us choose the solution that best suits the characteristics of our project or our needs. In terms of design, too, Ramon Soler®'s new proposals feature a sleek aesthetic with proportionate dimensions that give the taps a more minimalist and polished style, something we had been missing in timed taps.
In addition, the surfaces are characterised by their high resistance, thanks to the Diamond Finish, which achieves an extra-gloss finish through a carefully studied chrome-plating process and rigorous quality controls. This resistance and quality is also due to various anti-legionella systems that comply with regulations and standards to prevent its proliferation. Ramon Soler® taps are designed with quality materials, resistant to treatments with high concentrations of chlorine as well as to the high temperatures required for thermal shock disinfection as part of quality controls.
