Christmas is approaching and Ramon Soler® is more involved than ever in charity campaigns that help people. One of the collaborations currently under way is a food collection at its premises, to help with the food emergency. This year, more than ever, Ramon Soler® is collaborating with TEMPS in the Big Food Collection Campaign.
TEMPS is a team with 25 years of experience in the Temporary Employment sector in Spain, with a clear social responsibility, a very important value that it shares with Ramon Soler®, and for which the brand did not hesitate to join its initiative.
This project will collect basic essential foods. Almost whenever we think of donating food, the typical items come to mind: biscuits and sugar. But we should avoid donating foods rich in sugar and trans fats, and those that are harmful to health.
In general, it is recommended to donate non-perishable foods that can be stored easily and have a long shelf life. You can contribute pulses (tinned or dried), tinned fish and meat, tinned vegetables, cereals, milk or oil, as well as products such as sauces, juices or nuts. It is also worthwhile to give baby food, such as powdered milk or jars of baby food.
Ramon Soler® is setting up two collection points at its factory in Sant Joan d’Espí, Barcelona, from Monday 30 November until Friday 4 December. Staff, families and anyone who wants to help can come to the premises to do their bit and, together, help curb hunger in our country.
The brand expects that this year, with the charity food collection campaign held every year-end, donations will be high, since, given everything the Covid-19 pandemic is affecting, there is greater social awareness of poverty and its consequences.
