INSPIRATION

More than 500 years ago, Leonardo da Vinci, in his insatiable quest to understand life and the world around him, created one of the most famous and significant works in the history of Renaissance art: "Vitruvian Man", a scientific and graphic study based on the work of the Roman architect Marcus Vitruvius Pollio, which shows the proportions of the human body, from which its harmony and beauty are judged. According to Da Vinci, beauty lies in symmetry and perfect proportions, such as those found in nature. To find them in art and architecture, his study relies on mathematical laws.

Following the same purpose as Da Vinci, Jordi Soler (CEO of Ramon Soler), together with a team of designers and R&D experts, has succeeded in finding perfect aesthetic harmony in a tap. Adagio is thus the result of the fusion of tradition and innovation, the fruit of Ramon Soler's constant drive to achieve outstanding design.

DESIGN

Adagio is the search for the divine proportion in the body of a tap. An innovative design where the classic prevails; an architectural soul for contemporary bathrooms. Da Vinci's divine proportion emerges in it, where art and science meet. A composition of organic geometry that combines geometric forms with a mathematical order, bounded by straight lines and curves with organic forms, common in nature and in shapes that try to imitate it.

The exceptional quality of Adagio lies in its symmetry throughout. On one hand, the "Adagio" version, whose handles are cross-shaped. On the other, Adagietto, an exclusive version for wall-mounted basin taps in which the cross handles are replaced by a 'door-handle'-style handle with a single lever, in the same sinuous lines.

The collection offers a wide range of products, including taps for basin, shower and bath with two-handle, single-lever and thermostatic mechanisms. As for finishes, it can be found in the classic, infallible chrome, an elegant, spotless matt black and a sophisticated brushed gold. Adagio is made with top-quality materials and offers unrivalled functionality for modern bathrooms.

TECHNOLOGY

In addition to its aesthetic beauty, Adagio represents the technological innovation that characterises Ramon Soler®, incorporating systems and mechanisms such as Rapid Fix, a new patent that makes tool-free installation possible, easily and safely.

Adagio's high performance includes features and systems for greater efficiency and durability, adding value in use and making it a comfortable, satisfying everyday experience.

  • Sacrificial anode: The sacrificial anode protects the chrome through a zinc-magnesium part. This system, patented by Ramon Soler, triples corrosion resistance.
  • Sensitivity: With ceramic two-handle mountings and precision single-lever cartridges that allow the desired water temperature to be adjusted comfortably and progressively, without sudden temperature changes. It is a mechanism with ceramic discs that provide high precision and extreme durability.
  • Ergonomics: The ergonomic design of the taps makes them easy for anyone to use.
  • Durability: The tap stands out for its great strength, since all its external components subject to wear are made of metal, ensuring excellent durability over time.
  • Quality finishes: The surface of the taps is very hard-wearing and has an extra-high-quality finish, thanks to a carefully studied process for all their coatings (chrome, electrostatic on galvanised metal and PVD) and rigorous quality controls.
  • Acoustic protection: The taps have various acoustic filters, both in the water inlets and inside their regulating mechanisms, optimising acoustic protection. Noise level at 3 bar < 20 dB.
